Lya S. Osborn serves as the North America Regional Director for UnoLai Design and has contributed to a broad range of international projects and award-winning design efforts over the past eight years. Based in New York City for over a decade, Lya has worked closely alongside Uno in roles ranging from designer, project manager, client liaison, writer, literary translator, and strategic business consultant. Her work in North America and overseas is rooted in her passion to extend the reach and impact of human-centric lighting design. Lya received a double MFA in Lighting Design and Interior Design from Parsons The New School for Design, is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and the Illumination Engineering Society, and is a co-founder of LightJustice.org.
